Bracelet

As you can see this cute arm band looks smashing in taupe and hot pink metallic canvas cording. It is perfect wrist size. You cut a piece of canvas from plastic, mesh or needlepoint fabric, fill it in with a neutral background yarn after embedding an emblem in the center (here it is a heart) and fasten it with a big brown button.
Size to cut is from 1 1/4 inches to 2 inches wide and 4 inches long. To finish you sew a chain made from worsted yarn about 18 chains long. Cast on 18-20, turn crochet in 2nd chain from hook back to beginning equals 16 to 18 single crochets, now turn and slip stitch in each sc. Fasten off. Fold in half and with both raw ends together sew these onto one end of the wristband with yarn and a tapestry needle (size 10-11). Now sew the button onto the other end of the wrist band with the tapestry needle and yarn. Voila.

Be sure to go around all edges of the canvas and whip stitch with yarn.
